Yahoo! Inc.<\/em>, 2013-1121, -1195 (June 20, 2014), is the Federal Circuit&#8217;s application of the Claim Construction Cannon that different words have different meanings.\u00a0 The claim required an &#8220;embeded code module,&#8221;\u00a0\u00a0 The Federal Circuit noted that each asserted claim recites that the first code module is \u201cembedded\u201d or \u201cconfigured to be embedded\u201d and that the second code module is \u201cretrieve[d]\u201d or \u201cdownload[ed].\u201d The Federal Circuit found that this distinction creates a presumption that \u201cembedded\u201d means something different than \u201cretrieved\u201d or \u201cdownloaded, \u201d citing <em>Helmsderfer v. Bobrick Washroom Equip., Inc.<\/em>, 527 F.3d 1379, 1382 (Fed. Cir. 2008) (\u201c[D]ifferent claim terms are presumed to have different meanings.\u201d);\u00a0<i>Applied Med. <\/i>Res. Corp. v. U.S. Surgical Corp, 448 F.3d 1324, 1333 n.3 (Fed.
